Recording Tonight!

Trying to back on a regular schedule, we are hard at work tonight putting together an episode on co-teaching. And we'll be joined by a special guest -- regular WDL listener Mark will be in-studio (!) to discuss the magical world of co-teaching.

Dan's got a cold, so he'll be relatively quiet! Yay!

We're Back At It!

Dan here:

Miss us?

What? But we missed you....

You know, this relationship just isn't going to work without a little give and take. We need to work together, all of us, to stay committed. What? No, no I don't hate you. Now stop. Stop it. You know I hate it when you cry.

New episode up as soon as Jeff gets the ol' sucker edited tonight.

Delayed Show Week

Jeff here:

So the end of the year is hitting Dan and I hard. We have not had time to get together to record and probably won't have a show out until Thursday or Friday this week. Considering both of us are sleep deprived, living off of caffeine and cheezits, it's a wonder we're even alive this week.

This would be a good oppurtunity for people to have input for the next episode. The topic, working with parents. What suggestions or tips do you have for parent involvement? Do you have a parent meeting horror story to share?

Let us know by blog comment here or email wickeddecentlearning@gmail.com

Hang in there!

So We're a Little Late...

Dan here:

Sorry, folks. We get a tardy this week. Mom's Day plans and travelin' made it pretty much impossible to record this weekend. (And since our wives -- and mothers of our kids -- are pretty darn tolerant of our evenings recording in the lair, we aren't really gonna complain. Plus, I was in Boston. Hoo-rah!)

We're about to start recording a show all about recognizing student achievement and we'll also yap about online video editing tools, more comics (shock! awe!), and old school punk rawk getting new school props.

It'll be up in the morning. Sling us a line tonight as we record and it might make it on the air!

When Is Too Late to Record, Too Late to Record?

It's 11 p.m. We just hit the record button.

Heck yes! That's what I'm talkin' 'bout! Bringin' it hardcore education podcast style to the masses!

Jeff's got SATs in the morning. Pshaw! That ain't nuthin'!

Dan's got a sick kid. Pshaw! What's a 102 degree fever in the face of our podcasting might?

Yeah, we're in a mood. And we're talkin' standardized testing. It should be a gooder.
