I ain't the grammar Nazi! But that said, I was actually laughing out loud. The bad part was I was driving to the grocery store. Very funny opening. Love it.

Great episode. In some large urban areas, if you are willing to sign up in multiple school districts, you can substitute teach nearly every day. Fridays and Mondays are harder because many districts have an "emergencies only" policy on those days.

I also agree that it is so tough if you are a tech teacher to have a sub. If you leave an actual content lesson, the kids just play on the internet. If you leave anything else, they know it is make work.

A really good, dependable sub is like gold. Thanks for the episode. Still listening.

Tom Beringer played Sgt Barnes, Willem Defoe was Sgt Elias. The had the same rank, Barnes was just the bigger jerk
